After trying to learn this song I've realised how poor my fingerpicking is. Would you have any tips on how to improve it?

Use finger picks or grow nails on your picking hand.Clue to good fingerpicking is to make the thumb play independently from the other fingers.The thumb should play the groove (the bass-notes) and the other fingers the rythm and melody part.Grab the A chord,and then train the thumb to hit the 5th and 6th string as rythm,and then try to improvise with the other fingers and find a cool pattern.Practice this for >10min and then change chord and apply the same pattern again.Practice >15 min every day
