Hello to everybody...I'm the italian OS1 that was on board of the Simpson between Nov 97-<Nov 98 great ship great people i had lot of fun. I hope that somebody rememb me....I work now as Air traffic Controller in Italy..

that is Senior Cheif (RET) Paul Drummond. He was on the shipback in the 80's, not sure of the date. He went t owork for CSI doing training manuals, and was on board this day taking some photos, and invited us to take a tour of the ship. It was on a Saturday, will the ship was having some repairs at Mayport Naval Station, Jax., Fl.

I was on the Simpson from 1986-1988. Nice to see that she's still going strong!!! Fair winds and following seas, Simpson and her crew!!!

My buddy's name is Paul too, Paul Drummond, not sure what years he was son the ship. He has since retired and as of this vid, he was working for some company that wrote training manuals for the Navy, now he has moved to Alexandria Egypt, doing fiefighting training for th Egytian Navy.
