@SrPantalonesdefuego i have no problem with butchering a goat that i bought for that purpose making me laugh or not. thanks for the information about the males!.

@shinnecockwarrior Ok neither one of them have tougher meat they are roughly same texture the main diffrence is the male goat has alot of testoterone which makes the meat taste absoulutly disgusting, this can be avoided If you castrate the buck when hes young before he starts to grow male characteristics Personally, I don't think most people can raise a goat for butcher any more much less eat the animal that has been making you laugh for months even I don't eat my own produce.

i heard that either the male or the female has tougher meat but i don't know which one it is if that is at all true,. i would love to raise one or two strictly to eat them, but i don't know anything about them other than ordering a curry dish from a menu, anybody has any advice?
