I've done more than any of my professors, and Bob Ross was a bigger inspiration than any of them. They have structures, and methods, and lessons... but they don't have spirit. Bob Ross provided me the spirit and courage to spend a summer in nature, camping, backpacking, and painting... all while keeping it in my mind that I had the freedom to paint as I wanted to, as Bob Ross said. And you know what? That was my moment, and the turn in my artistry. Thank you Bob Ross. You are an inspiration.

 I grew up watching Bob Ross and Mark Kistler on PBS. They were huge in how I grew up. Mr. Ross and Mr. Kistler sparked my interest in art.
