KIev is much more dirty then any of the european cities. A very high amount of buildings in Kiev are ready to collapse. Also for the past 5 years Ukraine had literaly no government that was capable of functioning at all. And nothing seems to be changing, the best thing that can happen is for Ukraine to be invaded by someone, who knows how to run a country.

Its obvious you know little about this topic - Ukraine is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, beautiful avenues with masses of chesnut trees - far from the pretentious Paris and London which are extremely dirty except for the touristy places - if you want corruption visit USA and Europe 10 times the corruption of Ukraine - Ukraine has changed enormously more than any other European city post soviet times.

Modern Kiev if far from being one of the most beutiful cities in europe. Most of what is there, has been there since the soviet times. The city is ugly and poorly raun. And to your previous comment: majority of Ukranians isn't working hard, but trying to get rich by exploiting everything and everyone. Not only Kiev but whole of Ukraine is a big mess.

Modern Kyiv not soviet repressed Kiev is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe - if you can get off the drugs and alcohol and have a good look around the world might surprise you!

I would say, that during soviet times, kiev atleast stood for something, now however it's just a big pile of garbage...

The Ukrainians are still hard at work cleaning up Kyiv after the soviet repression - statues of Lenin are falling - slowly Ukrainians are getting used to independance, democracy - and people are not afraid to speak in Ukrainian language anymore - or participate in concerts in the streets of free Kyiv not Soviet Kiev.
