  • @GBinTampa How are you creating the short bit.ly links?

    are you using a Twitter client like Tweetdeck? If so, there is an option in there to preview the tinyurls first. For bit.ly you can also add a "+" sign after to preview it so check that out as well.

  • I am shortening my long URL and replying to a person that left a tweet on Twitter, but when I click on the short bit.ly URL in my tweet, it doesn't take me to my site, but instead, takes me to the bit.ly page and shows my long URL and I click on share and it just won't redirect. What am I doing wrong?

  • the tiny url for youtube is bigger than the original url.

  • bitly provides detailed information about who's clicking on your url

    The Firefox extension saves a ton of time vs Tinyurl which takes many many clicks

  • tiny url is pretty self explanatory
