Lost Kennywood - Why is Pittsburgh spelled wrong?

Yes, "Pittsburgh" is spelled wrong. The reason for it is because this is an homage to the old days. In1894, Pittsburgh changed to "Pittsburg" because there was a movement to make the names of places more standardized. Protests followed and the "h" was added back in 1911.
