@ultima3210 If you're asking me,
get something lighter like an 3 series e30 or e36,
an e39 is way too heavy and theres just too much stuff you'd have to work with.
Get a car with the least electrics inside it,
easiest to to convert i´d say.

Love it! What controller are you using? Obviously not a Curtis or we'd all hear that "interesting" whining noise they make... :)

Hey I was thinking about eventually purchasing a E39 bmw..to convert it to electric in the near future...within 5 years..I already own a e39...but i dont want to mess with it let alone i have no resources..would it be feasable..?
