We traded for this soda machine back in 2006 when a friend of ours opened a store, however he ran out of money and the store closed before it even opened officially, so we hauled this ga-zillion pound beast back to the canopy not even knowing if it really even worked (we had to buy parts for it when we got it) Just a few weeks ago we found out this thing does actually work, and works quite well for being so old.

  • you should put some 16 oz monsters in it

  • @roycelanaux12 That can of Narragansett beer I dispensed toward the end was a 16oz. It worked good.

  • I'll try not to die. LOL So what your saying is, they changed the mix in '06 and it tasted like crap, then they just changed it back to when its tasted good? I never tasted the ols stuff, (Never knew they changed it) And I wouls like to try it. Thanks.

  • @vistaman73 Yeah, they changed it a few times, once in the late 90's, in 2006 (when they added the 100% natural flavors thing to the label) and just a few weeks ago. It might not even be in any of your stores yet, it's only in like 2 grocery stores here yet. It has a new label, so you can tell it apart.

  • Can't beat that. Little bit of history there.

V8 Tomato juice is good stuff. Only fruit juice I really like. Would love one of those machines myself! It would never get old

  • @CSAKvids haha, I don't mind V8 juice that much really, but I always drank it as something to go with a meal, I never walked up to a soda machine on a hot day and said "I'd like a nice V8 juice to quench my thirst" My Dad used to drink that stuff all the time though.

  • Hey man, just snap that plastic part of the Coin Mech (the "sliding part" that you said was on its last leg) - its plastic and it should snap.. or duct tape.. trust me :P

  • "so until next time.......dont die" best ending ever

  • OMG! how did i miss this one!

  • @vwestlife They sell Moxie all over Massachusetts. I think it's kind of a New England thing these days.

  • Where did you get the Moxie? Did you order it online? I think Maine is really the only place you can find it in stores.

The new 7Up formula is advertised as "New Crisp Clean Taste"... it's pretty good, but now it tastes more like Sierra Mist (more lemony and less syrupy than Sprite).

  • lol wtf so random that you own that and that you're filming this while its raining.

  • @mhtube01 pecker beats them all!!!

  • i tried the new 7up formula and i was not impressed. it's a little bit better than the previous one but it's still not nearly as flavorful as it was in the good old days. and sierra mist is the worst now of all lemon lime sodas. sprite however is still good and is now my favorite. it's good you guys stocked mello yello in there. good stuff! and that ginger ale is good too.

  • Props for having Canada Dry and Mellow Yellow. I agree on 7up, its gone downhill in recent years.

However you did get a steal on this machine. I have been looking for one up here for a long time now on the cheap, but have not had any luck.

  • lol i hope i wont die! nice machine u guys got there. i agree about the 7up formula it really did taste like lemon lime seltzer. and Dell inspirons are the shittiest laptops ever! anyway though, i'd like to try the new 7up if it's good again.
