Brian May is cool. Winnie the Pooh is cool too. But Winnie the Pooh always leaves the house wearing a t-shirt and no pants. I call that confidence...but the police call it indecent exposure.

brian may is a deamon and so intelgent

@edmatper I'd chek my dates if I were you. The first Winnie the pooh animated featuret by disney was released in 1966 (it was later added to the full lenght movie to make it a full animated film). The featurete was called "Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree" and it contained the little black rain cloud clip. But I believe that both are actually adaptations of an even earlier waltz piece (but that's just my asumption).

this is a piece from waltz written by Shtrauss , Freddie used it in his song, and it is used in Winnie's song also
-
wait i dont get it.

The Millionaire Waltz was released on "A day at the Races" album in 1976... whereas The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is a 1977 movie. Brian rules !

I photographed Queen in 1976 over 2 nights. To see the shots go to ianmarkmusicphotos (.com)

definitely some resemblance between john reid & pooh:P

AHHAHAHA THIS IS AWESOME. I can totally see Brian alone at home secretly watching Winnie the Pooh and then rocking it up =p XD

@soulcheck4u I wish Brian would leave the house without pants... Someone back me up here?

that is pretty cool :)
but im easily entertained.
I was not saying that news of the world was one of my favourites just making the point that it was considered by most trendy music journo,s at that time had decided that Queen had run their course in the world of music by 1977/78...........My favourite is and was Queen 2 for its quirky songs I love the faery fellas master stroke I cannot think of any bad tracks on the CD but that is just my opinion ! but thats ok by me

oh no i understood you and i totally agree Queen II is by far the best album just everything about it is incredible - the orchestration of the guitar and the layers of vocal harmonies. I will admit it took me some time to get into it - and then one day i just fell in love with it. From Fairy Fellers Master Stroke onward up until the end of Funny How Love Is, is where it really kicks off its incredible. 1977/78 - nearly the 80's - the worst time for queen and music in general, thats explains it

Queen always had the reputatio of being a bit pompous but this disproves that theory ! I can remember when I was given the NME When I had a paper round and punk was up and coming about the time of The News Of The World album release and it got slagged off by every trendy journo as being the swansong of an outdated band that had no place in the world of music any more ! Long live Punk not ! funny that they outlasted most of the long forgotten Punk bands of that era apart from the Clash

To be honest i wasnt a huge fan of news of the world - it had some really good numbers on it but some werent so good - i love hearing how Kurt Cobain used to listen to it over and over again until it drained the battery in his dads car - they were such an inspiration to huge artists
