@xRandax94 Those are used to cleanse the eyes of the insect, since they dont have tear ducts or lids to do this function.

I wouldnt exactly call this spider cute but what camera did you use the zoom and macro are epic!?!

@tashiashitay I used a Panasonic HDC HS700 1080p Hi-Def. To get the magnification on this spider, I attached a Raynox DCR 250 Macro Conversion Lens.

your labeling is incorrect on your jumping spiders!

@sirtechy I just saw your video of the same spider, but I have seen several pictures and the Bug Guide that label this spider as putnami instead of mystaceous. Now I got to do more research, because I want to make sure this is a mystaceous before I change the title.

I don't know much about spiders but why does she keep moving those two little parts? To me it kinda looks like she is waving at 0:29 :D

@xRandax94 Those are called pedipalps. I don't know the exact reason why they move them like that all the time while they are walking around. I know when they sneak up on a bug, they keep them still. They will also wipe their eyes with their pedipalps. The males use them for mating, and both male and female use them to handle their prey while they eat it. If they get nervous, they will move them extremely fast.
