I love the Byzantine Empire, and would love to see the minarets taken down on the Hagia Sophia, however people need to understand that it wasn't just the Turks that destroyed the empire, as Western Europe, specifically the Sicilians, invaded the Empire and made it weak, eventually creating the Latin Empire. The Hungarians were the ones who sold the original cannons to the Turks, and no Catholic Nation offered help when Constantinople was sacked. I am not attacking Catholics, as i am Catholic.
