Army-Navy Screen Magazine #43: "a pictorial report from all fronts for the armed forces only." Produced by the Army Information Branch, Army Pictorial Services, Air Forces and the Navy Department. This installment of the series deals with the G.I. Bill of Rights (Serviceman's Readjustment Act of 1944) after World War II, with extensive voiceover narration about the history of the bill, with archival footage of soldiers returning home after World War I and reenactments of soldiers receiving the benefits of the bill.

  • @RavenBlaze It was for me...and I still laugh at the lifers that make fun of me.

  • Hey im doing a report on this, any idea the actual year of publication?

  • little did they know that many of the grandkids of these men would join the military exactly for the GI bill, to pay for college. (I in no way am saying this is the main reason for joining the military, but some do join for this reason.)
