Well hard to say. try to load a cd or usb drive and then boot with a copy of mac os x

ur hardrive is probably damaged a computer has to boot on some sort of memory

Hallo..I have the same problem exactly like you have, but my laptop is PowerBook G4 17 inch...goshh..am now so frustrating, have you fixed yours? If it yes, how did you fix it. Is there anyone can help me out ?? Thank you.

globe: means the mac is confused and looking for a network drive, or looking in your network for its files.
also, i think ur hdds failing. check it out.

I had same problem took it to apple Covent Garden cost £172 to sort out .could have fixed my self for about £40 but don't like messing with imacs .That is the great thing about Pc s they are easy to repair
