We also have had two male Samoyeds, each named Reggie the bear. The first adopted an entire military family housing area (in Germany) full of children because he was the only big dog in the neighborhood who didn't bite, and also because he would pull absolutely anything the kids wanted him to pull, especially sleds in the snow. Second only to a Newfoundland, Samoyeds are tops with children, especially the little ones.

Oh my God, that's practically our old dog! Same breed. Same general look. Same name. Same voice...Same magic keywords, too. ^^; (Even when we tried to spell them to keep him quiet...all it did was teach Bear to spell....)
