  • Whats the diference betwen aluminum and bronze snares? sorry my bad english...

  • Aluminum shells have a drier sound to them. They don't resonate as much as a bronze snare, which is not a bad thing. If you're looking for a tight, dry sound then aluminum is a great choice.

  • how much would one of these go for usually

  • Please contact us through the Memphis Drum Shop website or 888-276-2331 for pricing.

  • For hard rock/metal, should I get this snare, or the "DW 7 x 14 Collector's Series" snare? Help me out!! And also, which one is cheaper??

  • i gotta have it

  • dave grohl uses a dw aluminium snare with them crooked vultures

  • great sounding snare...I have the tama starphonic aluminium one...aluminium is the best shell for snares in my opinion...

  • Prolly not as loud as a bronze snare but i'm thinkin it can still be quite powerful yes? Also what type of sound would die cast hoops contribute to the drum? What would you suggest? Thanks. :-)

  • Not bad.

  • What's the are differences between the 5.5 and 6.5 depths?

  • this doesn't sound like its tight on the snare side and moderately tight on the batter side like usually. it sounds lower

  • While this is a great snare, those interested should also check out the Tama Starphonic Aluminum snare. Tight, dry, and punchy. A great drum also.

  • This and the black beauty are imo the greatest snare drums ever made!! This one is a little cheaper that the BB.
