INCREDIBLE!!!
I've heard the name for many years but never the playing. I'm glad to know about yet one more GREAT performer!

Well, making room for M-C. Alain would have made sense if they had included a recording that was not yet available on CD. But they chose her Liszt B.A.C.H., which was already published by Erato, so I agree with your point.
Anyway, it's about time someone reissues all of Falcinelli's Angoulême recordings on CD...

It is particularly moving to realize that this recital was played in the presence of the composer less than 3 weeks before his death. Thanks for sharing!
By the way, Falcinelli has done another recording of Dupré's Second Symphony in Angoulême. Do you have that one as well?

As far as I know only the second two movements of the Angoulême performance are available on CD. I am waiting for the full symphony to buy it.

Indeed, the Intermezzo and the Toccata have made it to a CD, entitled "Große Organistinnen" and published by "organ", a sublabel of IFO. Why they have left out the Preludio is a mystery to me...

To make room for M.C. Alain? As if she doesn't have enough recordings...
