Jesus gave us the command in Luke 14:26-33, but as indicated (few) followed Him because the "cost was too great". Yes, many sing of being disciples, but few desire to follow the initiation period and suffering, sacrifice, and forsaking of all to "obediently follow the LORD Jesus Christ. With the "easy believism" doctrines of the modern, seeker friendly, entertainment focused, McChurch services Church, with their cheap grace doctrine as opposed to the "costly grace" that Jesus Christ taught throughout Scripture, no wonder the respondents to this topic reply about the singer, NOT God's grace. But that's what to expect from those who are taught that to recite a few words from rote and getting baptized in the water and you are now a child of God, (which IS NOT found in the Bible)

I loved it, put it on my playlust. I have a ton og playlists of odd stuff and stuff about the chruch to help people understand Christ and the world as it is. A little pop culture for fun, but mostly it just accents everything else in the playlists.
