Does Reformed Theology matter? Some say that it's irrelevant, and all that we should care about is getting people to make decisions for Jesus. Others say that if being careful and exact with your theology and then actually defending it is important to you, you're worshiping an idol and need to repent of your idolatry. So do these people have real claims or does the theology that you hold to really matter (in particular whether you hold to Reformed Theology)? Dr. James White gives some insight on how Reformed Theology affects one's apologetic, worship of God, and everyday life as a believer and why Reformed Theology is the most consistent and effective way to defend Biblical Christianity here on the first edition of Rightly Divided.

  • I wonder why on a Christian video there has to be this Mormon ad. Anyone find that ironic?

  • @failfiction The ads show up randomly. I can't dictate which ones show up. That one's unfortunate.

  • @LaneCh Why not just disable the ads? A lot of them are ungodly.

  • Powerful, informative, enlightening. This video helped me better understand reformed theology and motivated me to study it more in-depth.

  • I think it is hilarious that the beginning of this video about Christianity, specifically reformed theology...begins (at least for me) with an advertisement for LDS

  • @RCACsurvivorman - Atheism doesn't mean you have no beliefs, it means you have no belief in any deity.

  • @Spectralancer atheism truly means that they dont have any beliefs when the fact of the matter is that they BELIVE there is no God. so technically speaking, there is no true atheism but realistically, that title exists.

  • Does anybody know what song is the intro?

  • @Doulos7608 this Idea originated with Marcion, who said the God of the OT was dead, he was labeled a heritic and kicked out of the church for life, Alexandria later picked up on his teachings and changed it just a bit so that people would bite it, he said its not the God of the OT that is dead but his laws that are dead and no longer apply.

Don't get me wrong the law, feasts, sabbath will not save us in anyway, but they do enlighten us to who God is and Who Messiah is

  • @Doulos7608 God laid it out it cant be wrong, As far as dietary you ll find in acts 15 it gives a clue to what we should eat. Sabbath absolutly read hebrews 3 and 4, Passover yes corinthians, and Jesus "do this in remembrance of me" as far as tha talmud, and Mishnah no they are the oral law and traditions of man, Everything God planned for us is in the Tanakh, and NT 2tim 3:16 ALL scripture is inpired and for correction, instruction, No where is it in the NT that the old testamen is gone
