Iam not William, but you have to equalize your ears because of the pressure. Pince your nose with a nose clip and blow air threw your nose or as William and most freedivers do, they use a technic called "Mouth Full". You use the air the in your mouth to equalize your ears. If you want a link on how to learn "Mouth Full equalizing" message me, i cant link it here.

Really deep if guys recently starting dive:)
I have one more stupid questions;
- is it harder to ascent from deep because of negative bouyancy, i mean more deeper you go more negative bouyancy you overcome or from some point it doesn't matter?
- equalazing harder with deep? or after 10m it much easier (my max is about 10-15m but all the time i have problem with ET because of the sniffle).
And thank you for answering:)

The pressure gradient becomes less steep the deeper you go. From the surface to 10m is a 100% increase in pressure, whereas from 30-40 meters is only a 25% increase in pressure. Most beginners have difficult equalising past 10 - 20m, but with practice, the right techniques and training you can improve this depth safely and quickly.
