Our local community theater had a staged reading of William Inge's "Picnic" last April that I was in, and I shot just a few minutes of footage before a rehearsal. Anne, a terrific actor, was the director this time...she was in the production I directed there back over 10 years ago.

  • curious, is it easier to take direction having directed or harder, and is it easier to give direction once the actor has directed, or harder? i'm completely ignorant about the inner workings of theater, but i would think the director sees the big picture, and having directed, an actor would respect that, or maybe, having directed, an actor might see the vision differently. lol, i don't know if i'm clear in my question..
