Funny how OBL was killed without a trial, and no one complained about it, but when another terrorist, Al-Awlaki, was killed without a trial, we hear EVERYONE complaining about it! What's the difference between the two? They're both terrorists. They both attacked America. Why should Al-Awlaki be given special treatment?

I think the contention is that Al-Awlaki was an American citizen and was killed without trial, whereas Ben Laden was not.

Thanks for the reference. I don't think it is enough to be a resident though, you have to take an oath or give a formal declaration of allegiance to a foreign state, which I am not aware that he did, he just lived there.

@champton321 It does state "that U.S. citizens are subject to loss of citizenship if they perform certain specified acts voluntarily and with the intention to relinquish U.S. citizenship."

The question is did he do anything Voluntarily or with the intention to relinquish U.S. citizenship? The government isn't talking... It's all fine and dandy until it's a Christian man or woman whom the government labels a terrorist and takes out. Thanks for the link it was informative

You are, of course, correct - there was no *real* evidence that undeniably proved that Al-Awlaki was anything more than a cleric that was simply practicing his freedom of religion. We had nothing more than what the Government and Media tell us. I can tell you're

Okay I'm ranting but this is an outrage, see my video on the Secret Executive Order, Interpol (the enforcement arm of the international court) now has Full Diplomatic Immunity within the U.S. They can show up at your house, arrest you and take you to a secret military camp, torture you and there is no way to prove they did it. Their records are no longer subject to search and seizure or Judicial review! They can do untold things to you for saying the wrong thing and there's no way to prove it!
