patty: it's very important, especially this year. my goal is to win the world championships, so this was an important step for me to skate well here. I learned a lot here and I'm going to take what I learned here and bring it to Tokyo.

patty: i was really happy with my performance, i didn't have the best performances at skate canada and at cup of russia so it was really important for me to skate well here. and i was really happy because i was able to keep my mental capability (lol think he means concentration), i had a lot of focus, i really concentrated on my goal and i was able to accomplish it.
