Space Mountain Exit Viewpoint 1992

Since we've taken the Skyway to Tomorrowland let's poke around with a few short videos from that side of the park. This one is people exiting Space Mountain back before they build the game room structure that became its new egress. There's a lot of high fashion crammed into this one but I had to actually pan after the man in the insanely not-long-enough mylar shorts. In 1992 you could get up in the morning and pull a lot of different things up over your legs and call them "pants." This guy chose these shorts.

@DisneyfanBeckers I just got back from Disney World and saw all the updates. The smell that's in there has always been there lol. At least as long as I can remember (which is back to like 1996). The star tunnel song is the same one I was reffering to in an earlier post. But I remember a different but extremely similar song before 1999. (it wasn't really a song, but more of a background sound).

I haven't been on Space Mountain since the 2009 refurbishment. The last time I was on was in 2008. The star tunnel music they played then seemed to have come along in 2000. What I remember playing before then sounded almost exactly the same, only it wasn't a song. More like sound fx, like what was played in the zig zag part of the tunnel. As much as I've looked, I can't find any refference to that, or to the song playing in this video.

I'm sure it smells the same though lol. Disney A/C.

@me27821 Do you know when the star tunnel music we know today actually came about? Also today Disney World's Space Mountain races into the future with incredible sights, sounds, misssion training games, and smells(the one that is constantly inside was that always there?)

Does anyone know the name of the song playing? I knew I wasn't crazy! I knew I heard a song like that when I was young. But what's the name? Now only if I can find the original star tunnel "music".
