@True2TheBlueYoViGang . in Australia , it takes 3 years at Tech school , one day a week . And you work for 4 years the days your not at tafe, its an apprenticeship a trade .

@True2TheBlueYoViGang how long should a course to become an ac technician would take? im planing on skipping college and going to tech school... i have atended college for business administration but that was a joke and nobody ever cared about it in any position i applied for while studying for it so i dropped out. i want to go to a technical school... how long should a course take? 6mnths? is it to expensive? Im a quick learner and this seems to bea recession proof job so plz share...

man... i gota become an ac tech... someone in my family became a tech and worked for the court house and he got the best benefits discounts everywhere he went and is now retired in a big ass house with brand new cars and everything.... he was always an asshole and still is i cant stand him but out of all the jobs out there that are in demand this hvac business doesn't look like its going anywhere soon (cuz almost everyone has an ac its always in demand),,, uploader do you have any advice for me?

From all these comments, I sure as hell hope you can't become an 'ac technician' in 6 months. A refrigeration mechanic is a years long apprenticeship like other core trades like plumbing and electrician, of which refrigeration/HVAC shares several skills/knowledge basics from.
