Electron density in a protein molecule. The electron density was determined experimentally by X-ray diffraction at the Australian Synchrotron. The density is represented as chicken wire in blue and is contoured at 1*sigma. The protein structure is represented as a stick model. A nitrate group is shown bound to the protein in the center. The red spheres are water molecules. Hydrogen atoms are not shown for clarity.
Wow 1 angstrom resolution....that's easy , well kinda easy, with that small stuff (molecules)..now try to get that 1 angstrom resolution with those big guys ( proteins) ..and then you could show off !!
