  • It has got nothing to do with beliefs or religion. Through their practices they are breaking French law, defrauding people and committing human rights abuses. That is why the organization is on trial and facing criminal charges and is banned/ restricted elsewhere in Europe.

  • This seems to be to very one sided. Why is there no Scientologist on the panel?

  • No Scientology reps seem willing to front the media on this issue at all, except for a few prepared statements at the court house.

Although, Scientology spokespeople rarely engage in media panel debates about Scientology at the best of times.

  • This is what's wrong with Scientology. They can't just be happy to help people, everything, and I mean everything they offer has help comes with the catch that they expect you to join their cult and do as the cult tells you to do.

It's not an option to join, it's not an option to "go up the bridge"... you must do it. You must like it. You must have no doubts. Or else. What kind of freedom is that?

  • It is reported that they refused to come on the show

  • they will not debate it at all

  • yes bann it a cult is a cult

  • No Scientologist would ever go onto a panel discussion. There would be "Suppresive Persons" on the panel, and they would have to go through more Scient. courses to "handle" the "Potential Trouble Source" caused from hearing negative information about the cult. I mean "Church."

Scientology (the organization) sees the media as Suppressive, and avoids speaking to them at all costs. The only time you will get an interview with a Scientologist is when you agree to only speak positively about them.

  • when were other religions on trial?
