This video demonstrates the high beam function of the popular FX-R D2S Bi-Xenon Projector outdoors.
A bi-xenon projector used the same HID bulb for both high and low beam operation. When the high beam is engaged in a bi-xenon projector, a solenoid drops the cutoff shield controlling the beam pattern. When the solenoid is released the cutoff shield springs back into low beam position.
