This is a demonstration of an RGB LED being driven with 3 seperate 8-bit PWM signals generated by a Xilinx XC2C256 CPLD which is controlled by an Atmel ATmega32L microcontroller. In this demonstration all LED's are used. The goal of this project is to properly control an RGB LED, so that the hardware can be used as the foundation for an RGB LED matrix, or perhaps one of those catchy cubes a lot of people have been building.
