The Phuket International Blues Rock Festival was held at the Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, last Friday & Saturday, 22 & 23 February. This was the 3rd edition of the festival which has grown not only in popularity with larger and more enthusiastic crowds, but also in the number of bands to 12 performing over 12 hours on stage, and the addition of a rock element merging with the blues, appealing to a wider age range of participants on and off the stage. The festival also continues to raise more educational funds for local students through two charities, the Phuket International Women's Club & Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation, through more sponsorship principally provided by HotelTravel.com, and the audience's ticket sales and extra food and beverages consumed in a pleasant picnic park atmosphere.
The real enjoyment comes from the excellent performances on stage, so let's enjoy 3 more samples of bands and their reactions afterwards: Soi Dog Blues Band from Bangkok, Salty Dog from Australia, & The Blues Machine from Pattaya;
