NYC Health Champion Saranne Rothberg Makes Health Fun!

New York City Health Champion Saranne Rothberg is a stage IV cancer survivor. With the help of hundreds of comedians, Saranne's ComedyCures Foundation continues to bring joy, vitality, healthful practices, stress management techniques and physical movement to the ill and undeserved in urban settings around the world.

This inspiring single mom has already had a significant impact on the health of over a half a million citizens through her live ComedyCures events in collaboration with hundreds of communities, civic groups, corporations, NGOs, foundations, schools, health organizations and individuals.




Saranne is a powerful force helping battered women, bombing victims, chronically and acutely ill patients, military families, seniors, the homeless, drug dependent individuals, widows, and the mentally challenged of all ages build community, develop personal coping strategies and self esteem while rediscovering their sense of humor.

Saranne is now cancer free. Her strategies for healthy living improve well-being and empower people of all ages, ethnic groups and socio-economic levels to become Health Ambassadors promoting a joy-filled approach to physical and mental wellness.
