She is bouncing on the horse's back which can't be comfortable for him. Plus she's pulling too hard on the reins and kicking him too hard especially on the last barrel. She should learn to lean forward when she runs and not depend on the horn for balance.

@slitwristschick Know it's been a long time but this was quite a few years ago in my early years. I did have to learn to stay off his head but I have won thousands of dollars on this horse over the last 8 years. He was my best friend and lived to ride together. I lost my best friend (Mighty Mouse) several weeks ago to Peritonitis...so heartbroken. I started riding again and much older now..check me out on Britt Barrel Racing Wrapp'n Niki. She is good for her age! That is a gorgeous horse. Only a few things, it looks like she is pulling up on the reins to keep herself in the saddle, and she is bouncing really high out of the saddle. But she looks like she could go really far with that horse. :)

@dg506 haha are you kidding me. let us real cowgirls give the real advice. oh yeah cause it is only cowgirls who barrel race. wow idiot alert. if u guys did basic horse riding 2 begin with & some flat work you would use your legs more than your hands & lean with the horse. as she goes from second barrel to third she yanks on the horses mouth because she is being left behind. the horse is trying to go faster & win but she is holding him back. then spurs him so hard on the way home.

@GlassMagicCo u need to sit up strait and work on your balance u were all over the place u r holding her back try to get a trainer to work on your balance then u need to work on turms this is some tips to get u a faster time

Her horse is a little jerkyy.... try a softer bit(Twisted Wire or Thousand Dollar Bit).... not being rude just a tip
