  • An unrecognised Stranglers' classic popular song. The great, Mr Cornwell commented that this song "clearly wasn't developed or thought about" in musical terms. However, in my opinion, the refrains, of Dave's keyboard and Hugh's guitar, perfectly embellish this personal little JJB number. Long live the Meninblack.

  • @wellingtonweather Hey ,nice review !

  • Not Bad..... but not one of their best !

  • No debate great song mon the hoops

  • I kind of agree with Hughs comments about the song-when this came out I remember thinking it's got all the stranglers ingredients-the keyboards were great and the guitar riff great signature on the song-it was a b-side and as such wasn't really worked at I think

  • Funnily enough, this is a track that,in my opinion, comes alive mostly through it´s guitar playing, which is done by Mr. Cornwell, who claims that this song ....forget about it!!Thanks alot!!!All of the stranglers!!!

  • @wellingtonweather Love this song- much under-rated,with a lotta feeling from JJ. Obviously written from the heart? ..... I think Hughs comment was obviously made afterhe left the band??? Just bitching about JJ i guess?? After all it does sound like a JJ song rather than a stranglers song? But then again didn`t Hugh leave the band to "experiment" with softer individual songs like this?????Ha!

  • they should put this song on dreamtime not like a single!!!

  • great song

  • I have always loved this song, it stretches JJ vocals a bit, should have been a single not a givaway/b'side, love the bit 'where as before'
