@alsepang I stopped watching the new canon because of how awful it is. :P

And this song actually plays in SVU (s1) at the end. It's the montag-y thing with Booth at dinner and Brennan with the skeletons.

@GamblingTime Oh yeah, I remember now! Thanks for that; I'll have to go back and watch season one again. The characters were so different in season 1-3 - so much more believable. Glad to know you think the same.

I'm just watching because I'm in it for the long haul. I don't think I could stop watching, just because I'd be curious...

@alsepang I thought I'd be in it for the long haul. Since s4 I'd stubbornly announced that on the boards. But then I realized after watching the s6 premiere that it's not the same show anymore, and everytime my friend gives me updates on what happened in the last ep, it just reinforces my opinion that it's good I stopped.

I like my own canon version better. Zack's still there, Sweets is Gorgonzola, Daisy was mauled by a pack of rabid bears...

@GamblingTime Haha, I know right? I actually think some of the FanFiction out there is more believable and interesting than canon. If you're into FanFic I'd recommend bloodwrites as a good author for a better Bones storyline.

I'm with you on Sweets being Gormogon's apprentice and that would mean no Daisy (woo-hoo!) or any other interns, for that matter.

@alsepang I'm not a shipper myself, so fanfic has never really catered to me. There are a few that I love, but generally I just wrote my own (set s2). Maybe it's 'cause I didn't write for the current show that I didn't get a lot of reviews.

But, yeah, as far as I'm concerned, canon stopped at Weeds and everything since is a coma dream after Booth got shot.
