Have a search on Google for "photoshop snow effects" and you'll find other ways to make snow using photoshop's standard tools.

Pity there isn't a mac version, great photo and tutorial though-I don't think I have blizzard either on my CS4 either. Hope you do another 15 minute challenge again, love watching those-thanks for sharing:)
