The Fox News story about a principal at a Florida public high school facing jail time for praying at a school event was not only misleadingly reported by Steve Doocy on "Fox and Friends," but, given Megyn Kelly's report on "The O'Reilly Factor" the night before, there's strong evidence that Fox News was knowingly dishonest as I show in this video.

The two clips of Steve Doocy from "Fox and Friends" in my video come from the program broadcast on Fox News on August 12, 2009

The two clips of Megyn Kelly from "The O'Reilly Factor" in my video come from the program broadcast on Fox News on August 11, 2009.

The collective knowledge doctrine quotation in my video comes from United States v. Bank of New England, N.A., 821 F.2d 844 (1st Cir. 1987) quoting United States v. T.I.M.E.-D.C., Inc., 381 F.Supp. 730, 738 (W.D.W.Va.1974) the full text of which is available online at http://bulk.resource.org/courts.gov/c/F2/821/821.F2d.844.86-1334.html

You can find more information about the history of of Pace High School Principal H. Frank Lay's constitutional violations in the Pensacola News Journal article at http://pnj.com/article/20090809/NEWS01/908090314/Principal-Lay--No-regrets-in...

You can find the full consent decree that the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida (ACLU-FL) reached with the Santa Rosa School District in the the case at http://www.aclufl.org/pdfs/SRosaConsent.pdf

You can find the August 2008 ACLU-FL statement that I show in my video quoted by Fox News as if it's a reaction to the latest constitutional violation at http://www.aclu.org/religion/schools/36568prs20080827.html

And, finally, as always, you can find DOZENS and DOZENS more examples of Fox News bias on my Fox News bias playlist on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A3BD2524FE99BD4D

  • @LiberalViewer As a colleague, nice primer on the notice to the body is notice to the head. However, unlike you, I will call fox liars.

I read where the doocey joke said, on a segment about swabbing for DNA at the airport could be faked by putting another s DNA in your mouth-I guess like kissing. Have you been able to find, and, if so, could you provide me with the clip?

  • All Fox needs to be successful is a dumb enough audience to listen to them. Stop watching them.. Seriously.. watch pbs or bbc, or cnn, Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert..

  • @bmwz3m1 Are you really that deaf and blind or are you just ignorant? Fox News is guilty of systematic lies and misinformation on a daily basis. They are nothing more than a propaganda machine for the GOP. It has been proven that Fox News viewers are less informed than people who watch no news at all.

  • Definitely lying. When different anchors are covering the same story, they will be comparing notes. Fox and friends will have had that info and omitted it for the purpose of spin. Nothing the rleigious right like more than being the martyr.

  • Fox News is the only one that tells the truth, when was the last time you heard nbc news talk about Fast & Furious?

  • I live in milton florida, (right next to pace) and this kind of religous crap is going on like mad around here....... I have never seen anything like this before, there are still people and churches churning over this and inciting prayer in schools.

  • @Tradeofjane Tea Party gives a bad name for actual tea parties.

  • Religion CANNOT be ENFORCED on anyone as stated by the US CONSTITUTION. You see kids, this is how you end up with stupid people that watch Fox News and form a group called the Tea Party, which is really only the KKK with a 10 point higher IQ.

  • We dont get fox in the uk but the bbc is full of it to

  • I am sick. I am not into the republican party or anything they represent.

I have a total crush on Megyn Kelly.
