Yes, that's exactly it. He has a long way to go yet before he's ready to refocus completely. At least the mania seems good for him most of the time, except when he gets stuck in a mental rut. I ended up taking it to worse places for a while, but I didn't have a webcam either, so I don't know how that effects things.
