it is true that christians are ahl-e-kitaab, however, the original document is now NOT available, therefore no kitaab so not an 'ahl'. besides this your argument for not calling someone a kaafir is very vague. a person who has not declared faith is not a Muslim. therefore the other category is a Kaafir. we can call Mirzai's kaafir becasue they go against the fundamental principle of Islam. No prophet after the last.. i think that philosophising and being overly liberal is not the answer.
