The Fall release of the upper Gauley River in West Virgina has the best white water in the Eastern US. This was our first time down the upper Gauley using a small raft, team extreme is worth the extra money. Eric Powell has been our guide many times, we went to Costa Rica and rafted the Pacuare river with him in December 1998. The Hungry Mother surfing hole was a lot of fun, Lost paddle didn't seem like a class 5 rapid. Look for our other video "Team Extreme Pillow Rock Rapid" Enjoy!
