Yes, I have made my own AMV of The Dark Knight, which EVERYBODY has done. Still, since Ive had it sitting on the shelf for over a year now I thought I should just finish the damn thing and be happier for it.
I knew that I wanted to make an AMV trailer for a big Hollywood blockbuster movie, and yes Dark Knight was my first choice. Still, it was going to be either this or ChronoBoy II, mostly because I had all of Chrono Crusade but not all of The Big O. I think I made the right choice for the time, though I still wanted to get this idea off my chest.
Weve used all kinds of animes with this trailer from Naruto to Death Note to Evangelion, but I guess nobody thought to use The Big O. Its directly inspired by Batman and follows many of the same themes, plus the footage matched pretty well. Come on, Alan Gabriel as the Joker?!? Hell yes!

Me too! Nowadays, you have to be a Douche(Death note/Code Geass) in order to be popular. The voice casting was good, it was original, and it was possibly one of the top 10 greatest anime of all time. I'm going to start a petition to bring back Big O so that people don't miss out on a kick-ass cartoon.

@TheManwholaughslast It's not coming back, with the death of Bandai Entertainment, we won't be seeing anime more of Big O, unless the license is picked up by someone else, which is highly unlikely because its an "old" anime

Some casting choices are obvious, Batman with Roger, Rachel with Dorothy, even Gordon with Dastun... but from that point on its left to us to determine whose our Joker... I must say, Gabriel in that role is an interesting idea. I didn't think it could be pulled off myself but you managed to do it well. Excellent work.

Actually I might do one for Batman 3, since I purposely didn't use Beck, so maybe Beck as the Riddler?

@Boldsoliloquy Since the 2012 film seems to be specifying the villians, how about Schwartzwald as Bane and Angel as Catwoman?
