@deadsailor86 usually the people starting the arguements have never trained in any style or never been an a physical confrontation and just learn the stuff that they do know off of youtube...

@deadsailor86 could not have said it better myself man your 100% right

Raymond Daniels would FUCK UP Anderson Silva. The UFC pepps up their boys to be the best fighters in the world. Ya, they're awesome... but not the best.

i remember i was at a karate show once and raymond daniels was sooo annoying! he was just yelling and yelling and then he tried to start this chant thing but no one joined him lol. he sooooo loud!

You can knock anyone out, with any style, if you become a master at it. Daniels uses the rules, depending on the competition, adapts, then knocks people out. Hating on him, just shows how weak you are.

@AintDoneYet123 i watch some muay thai here and there. alot of fast power strikes. alotta kncokouts lol. they shuld use more head movement and footwork but i mean..it works very very well. i train in muay thai when im at school under this pro kickboxer. he's real good man. i think to b e the best u gotta train in both tho for sure.

@vespaman101 yeah i kinda realized that from watching a few k1 fights, fighters dont really use clinch fighting that much and dont use elbows (obviously cuz its against the rules), most fighters just dont train on it i guess, the ones who do from what ive seen are Buakaw and Alistair Overeem, pretty good control in the clinch, i think long range dutch is kinda better cuz thats all they train on i dont know much about muay thai matches cuz i dont watch many of them
-
@AintDoneYet123 yeah it is. dutch style is better with punches but the power i think belongs to muay thai. as well as kicks and clinch. as well as knees and elbows. but u shuld use ur hands mostly anyway when u fight to set up the kicks. so idk which is better. hard call.

i love semi contact.... but this wcl is perfect raymond we love u!!!

@deadsailor86 Or just keep the peace, and not worry about something as silly as fighting :)
awfully tired of all of the style vs. style arguments. there are techniques that work and techniques that don't. some work on certain people and not others. there is no such thing as a perfect fighting system. a true martial artist isn't so closed minded that he only uses technique from his "style" and writes everything else off as bullshit. fighting's fighting. use what works not just whats on your requirement sheet.

@mandag34 Basically regular kickboxing rules (like used in the K1 system), but it's team-based rather than individual, and fighters wear (fairly thin) shin protectors.
Fighters themselves however have been almost exclusively from full contact karate oriented styles, whereas most kickboxing (Dutch/European or Japanese) has a style very different. You'd never see anyone drop his hands like Daniels did, because the level of boxing is way above what's soon here, even in B or C class.
