Mysto & Pizzi go to LA Day 2

Here is day 2 of our trip. We got alot more footage in this one. We started the day off with a meeting/listening session with Jordyn Taylor (http://www.myspace.com/jordyntaylor ). She's a really cool person and we're glad we got a chance to meet up, hopefully we'll be working with her soon. You'll get to hear some of the new songs we've been working on as well. Afterwards we had to buy some clothes for the scene we filmed with PDFlo the next day, movie is gonna be crazy. Later on we finished up working on a track we started back in NY with Brent Paschke, a really talented guitar player/producer/songwriter. You'll see alot of footage from us working with him in the next couple days. We wrapped up the day by showing our portable studio setup. you can get the st77 sterling, its' $500 and it does justice. that's the cheapest good mic that you can get.

How are those Bose headphones that Pizzi's wearing? Are they decent for reference? Are they comparable to the beats by Dre?

I'm an R&B songwriter, and I am very picky about my headphones. I'm pretty satisfied with Sony in terms of clarity and bass, but I HATE its durability. Should I get the Dre studio phones, or are the Bose headphones (in the video) a steal considering the fact they're half the price?
