They can no longer be called corn as they are partly a few different lifeforms fused genetically..If the gene splice tool was agrobacterium, the bacterium is supposed to be killed subsequently by anit biotic treatment, but monsanto dont screen for successful treatment and in fact it is rarely killed . yes the gene splicing will continue in nature when these frankentsteins are released into nature.
if the plant already has this agrobacterium as your hudsband tells you it would be suffering from crown gall disease and the crop would need to be destroyed.
