I feel bad and want to help these people...Eliminating carbs (your body needs carbs to run!), trying to find a 'healthy' cereal (believe me, there's no such thing). Eating all fruits and vegetables is not the problem...it's undereating, social isolation and the mindset around it. I don't like how orthorexia stories make raw food and vegan diets look bad.
The book The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan tackles this issue so well! He talks about "The American Paradox" instead of the "French Paradox" where we see "a clearly unhealthy people obsessed with trying to be healthy". I mean we've gone from the fat phobia of the 80s, to today's fear of carbs. Who knows how to eat anymore?? This book is amazing, it honestly changed my life, READ IT!:D (PS. this is not spam:))
