Kurt Cobain isn't really that great at guitar. Slash is pretty good, but the real battle is Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page. I would have to go with Jimmy Page because his solos are amazing and I love watching his performances live.

@Lazyboy5298 dude guitar gods doesnt mean that that should be lead killer or something like that kurt cobain created such a stong meloday that millions of people felt in love with that and it was created with his guitar.....so you dont have to be speed killer or lead killer to be guitar god.......

@Lazyboy5298 dude, i love jummy page and jimmy hendrix just as much as everyone else but they were great in their time.
Today they would not even believe some of the talent there is.

I want to see Jimmy page play the solo to Domination. It just is not going to happen. he'd actually have to study and practice to play it.

@Lazyboy5298 I agree . . . with your first part. I love kurt's music, but he wasn't very "technically" great, which is one of the reasons i DO love his music. As for the others, i think you're WAY off. Where's your mention of in-my-opinion THE greatest guitar player ever: ANGUS YOUNG???
Even Jimi Hendrix couldn't hold a candle to Angus. Hell, he's so awesome they've even named a beef after him, lol ;-)
