"Yes." That answer hit me like a ton of bricks. I felt the lump forming in my throat, threatening to come out like a sob.
"If you had kissed her, it wouldn't have been so bad. A kiss can happen. But you slept with her. You could've stopped the whole thing, you could have stopped when she started taking off your clothes. You could've stopped when she touched you intimately. Did I cross your mind?! Did you think about me when you touched her the same way you touched me?! I could have forgiven you the kiss, eventually. But you, you made love to her!" The sob escaped my mouth, and I was back at the beginning. I was crying like a baby, again. It felt like a truck was on my chest, I couldn't breathe.
"No, no, no! Haley, please forgive me! I didn't make love to her, I didn't love her. I love you! You can't leave me, you just can't!" I heard him fall against the ground, he was just as bad like I was.
"I love you, Nick. I probably always will. You'll eventually find someone new, maybe you can start a new life with Camilla. But I can't do this anymore, this is too much. I want you to know that there was never someone else in my life, there was only you. I gave you my all, my heart, my body. I gave you my love. Just try to be happy again, okay?" My heart was screaming 'no', but I had to do this.
"What are you saying, Haley? You don't mean that, we can't split up! We can't be apart from each other! I, I just, I..." My left hand balled up in a fist, and I brought it up to my chest. I took a breath, not believing I was going to say this.
"I want a divorce, Nick."

Okay, everyone will shoot me now! Haha
