@Petemonster62 We saw very few classic cars that day. There was a second airplane, but I was only able to video it flying by itself.

I just love the scanner pickup of the dectector alarms, because they think an axle is on fire when its just a fire in the boiler. And sure enjoyed the biplane in on the chase also!

When I chased the train on 9/26/08 from Glenville to St. Paul, I don't remember them tripping any detectors. But they tripped every one on the Mankato sub. When they tripped the detector between Shakopee and Merriam the conductor radioed the head end and asked if they needed to stop. Someone in the engine radioed back 'No,highball the detector'.
Besides the biplane there was also a vintage single wing plane chasing. But the only video I got of it was solo before the train arrived.
