Alicia Keys wins the grammy for the "Best R and B Album" for "Songs in a Minor" at the 44th Annual Grammy Awards. Held in 2002. Presented by Jaime Foxx Ja Rule and Pamela Anderson. She beat out Aaliyah, Mary J Blige, Destinys Child (Beyonce), and India Arie.
