  • Jazz is about to improvise

You don't improvise in this video guys, you just play the studio version of this beatiful song.

Sounds really nice, but it has no feelings, at least not your feelings.

This is my favorite song ever, and i love to improvise over it.

i would like to hear you playing this song with your ideas and your improvisation.

    Greetings!

  • @ThePatOhara Now that time has past, I see this video, and like it a lot, but I couldn't agree more with you. I love to improvise, always did, when I played this song I wasn't able to improvise in this hard song, now I can. Thanks for the comment! I really feel what Im playing not as good as if its mine, but I get what you are saying! Peace!

  • Wow, that took huge stones to pull off. Must have taken weeks! It's so nice to see guys your age plowing into this kind of music!

  • @toddhue6392 Thanks men!! Nice comment! We love Pat Metheny, big fanss!!

  • Great work guys! It appears as you play that you actually know and like the song and didn't just do as a project for class. Cheers!

PS - Don't worry about the negs. Ask them to post THEIR version of this song. Talk is cheap.

  • @jaluman Thanks men! We do know the song! It was really great doing this version! Thanks for the support!

  • Not perfect, but one hell of an ambitious choice and you get mad props from me just for that. Very impressive talent, but turn down the gain on whatever mike you are using, and get rid of the distortion.

  • More than anything, I felt the love and respect you guys have for the music and the artists. That doesn't always come through when I hear others play Pat and Jaco....but it definitely does with you two. Keep up the good work......Pat and Jaco are two of my favorite musicians of all time.

  • @ThePatOhara Mr. Ohara- I agree with you completely on your observation, with one difference: it is an accomplishment within itself that this obviously very young guitarist has managed what he has.. the ability to make it his own will hopefully come with time..

  • Great job guys !
