This video has some of the scenery in South Carolina from such places as Spartanburg (my home), Columbia (our State Capitol), Charleston, Beaufort and other places. The purpose of this video is to allow my YouTube friends to see some of the sites of beautiful South Carolina.
The music is Al Jolsen singing "Nothing Could Be Finer Than To Be In Carolina". This is a favorite tune of both North Carolina and South Carolina.

i am an Alabamian and love it there but am moving to irmo south carolina. been all around south carolina and love it there as much i do alabama. but the palmetto state really is an amazing one. great video.

Spartanburg is near the mountains. We are a little over 4 hours from Myrtle Beach and just a little over 3 hours from Charleston. So it's not really close but it's not that far either. When I was in high school many years ago, some of my friends and I would head off to Myrtle Beach immediately after school on Fridays and get there later that evening. We would enjoy the beach in the evening and leave Saturday evening to come home after spending the day at the beach.

Peg, glad you enjoyed this little video of "Images from South Carolina". We do have a beautiful state but parts of our state are in a drought state such as my county. My county is in a severe drought state. We sure could use some significant rain here.

Thank you Daniel! Perhaps you could create a video of your own showing us some images from where you live. As for the song, that was simple. Most people from North Carolina and South Carolina learn this song as a child in school. Anyway, thanks for the compliments.

Thank you very much Ethan! I would love to see a similar video from New Zealand. Perhaps your parents could help you put together a video of images from New Zealand. Anyway, I agree with you my young friend...South Carolina is a nice place. I can go camping, hiking, swimming at a local lake or boating at a local lake...and I'm only a few hours away from some of the beaches here.
